Furthermore, we are located a stone throw away from the beautiful Burrishoole Abbey, why not take the five minute stroll and have a look for yourself. Other places of interest include Rockfleet Castle (Carrigahowley Castle); once home to the famous Pirate Queen Granuaile. For those with a passion for fishing Newport is an ideal location; Newport River, Lough Feeagh, Lough Furnace and Beltra lake to name but a few. This is regarded as one of the best fishing grounds in Europe, accompanied by excellent fishing facilities.
